About Rossville, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Fans of small town living will love Rossville, Tennessee. Established in 1859, Rossville is home to only about 700 people, although the population has nearly doubled since the 2000 Census. This town is found in Fayette County in the southwest corner of the state, and State Routes 57 and 194 easily transport residents to other parts of Tennessee. A small bedroom community, Rossville continues to grow while taking care to maintain its heritage and quaint small town living ideals.

While Rossville may not be home to any major attractions, there are still some places to visit here. The Rossville Historical District offers a historical home tour, many of which were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The Wolfe River Café offers southern cuisine, while residents who would prefer tacos and a and a margarita might like a night out at El Sol Azteca Restaurant. The community also offers some unique businesses, including Papi Joe’s TN Pepper Sauce.

With weather conditions that vary from season to season, the climate of Rossville may be described as unpredictable. The summers here are long and feature high temperatures and humidity. Temperatures average into the 90s during the peak of the season, and because of these unpleasant conditions, tourism to the area tends to slow down during these months. Many locals prefer to stay indoors in the comfort of their central air conditioning systems until temperatures start to cool off from September to mid-October.

Winters in Rossville are windy, wet, and cold, although the good news for residents is that the season tends to be short. Daytime highs tend to stay in the low- to mid-40s, but tempreatures below freezing are also common. Snowfall is rare and minimal, but ice storms and freezing rain are quite common. Without a proper gas or electric furnace at home, indoor living conditions would become dangerous, so Rossville HVAC technicians recommend seasonal maintenance during the autumn months to ensure home units are functioning properly.
