About Collierville, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Collierville, Tennessee is a Memphis suburb located in Shelby County. Despite a population of nearly 44,000 in 2010, Collierville is still classified as a town, and it was the largest town by population during that year’s Census. This community served an important role during the American Civil War, as it was the location of the Battle of Collierville. However, since that time, the town has transformed to a residential hub, and it has even been named as one of Relocate America’s top places to live in the U.S.

From a downtown historic district to outdoor recreation at WC Johnson Park, Collierville has it all in terms of attractions and things to do. Shopping enthusiasts will want to visit the Avenue at Carriage Crossing, with over 800,000 square feet of retail space. The Harrell Performing Arts Theater offers a variety of performances throughout the year, and visitors who hope to learn more about the area might enjoy a trip to the Morton Museum of Collierville.

Living in western Tennessee requires preparation for varied weather conditions throughout the year. Summers here are hot and humid with highs reaching well into the 90s. However, high dew points can leave the air feeling heavy and often sends residents indoors. The right central air conditioner can lower indoor temperature while reducing humidity and improving overall comfort.

Winters in the region are mild to chilly. Snowfall totals in Collierville are well below the U.S. average, with only about three inches of accumulation per year. Cold temperatures, freezing rain, and ice storms pose greater dangers, as these conditions make driving hazardous and can knock down power lines and tree limbs. The best way for residents to prepare is to have the right heating system at home, and either an energy efficient furnace or heat pump will keep indoor conditions comfortable.
