Service Technician - HVAC

Position Summary: To diagnose and make repairs to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. To perform routine scheduled maintenance as needed on residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualifications needed for this position:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience making repair and replacement decisions
  • Advanced customer service skills - must be personable & posess good customer relation skills
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Must be willing to help with installs if needed
  • Commercial refrigeration experience is preferred but not required
  • Drug Free (pre-screening will be administered prior to hire)

Service Administrator

Service Administrator

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in the administration, productivity and profitability of the Service Department.

Employment Type: Full Time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone lines
  • Schedule service requests with a focus on maximizing productivity while meeting customer scheduling needs
  • Review technician schedule with Service Supervisor daily
  • Assess materials needed for upcoming jobs daily and ensure availability
  • Assist Service Supervisor with maintaining shop inventory and re-order as needed
  • Review technician work orders for accuracy and process & send for payment; follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Contact maintenance accounts to schedule service when due
  • Assist with the resolution of customer questions or complaints and report all incidents to Service Supervisor
  • Assist with quotes as needed
  • Maintain and follow up on outstanding service quotes
  • Issue and receive purchase orders and enter vendor invoices into accounts payable

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in conjunction with others
  • Knowledge of geographic service area
  • Basic knowledge of dispatch function
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
